Career in finance is lucrative. However, many students/professionals, despite having interest and the required skills, stay away from making a career in finance. One reason being its a career for extroverts and people with good social skills. That is not right. There are many career options in finance and not roles in finance required you to have great social skills. Many career options in tech, risk and quant areas require technical people who have skills these areas. You must consider a career in finance if you have interest and some knowledge of some finance. Always reach out to a mentor to understand if you have genuine interest.
