Kayaking to four waterfalls on Lake Superior Upper Peninsula Michigan. #shorts
We took the sea kayaks out from North entry outside of Houghton and paddled about 2 miles to see 4 waterfalls during early spring runoff. There was a little ice still on the sandstone cliffs and all the icebergs were melted already. The main attraction was Horsetail falls where we got out of the kayaks and stood below the waterfall. Can only reach these waterfalls by the water as there is no public land access.
