Farm Life - Morning Chores
Farm Life - Morning Chores Are Part Of Farming And Homesteading shows our morning farming chore route as we go through the beginning of the day and get the animals ready for the day.
We move, feed and water the pastured poultry meat chickens that are in our Suscovich style chicken tractor. We open up our pastured egg laying chickens, also known as layers, so they have access to their nest boxes to begin laying farm fresh eggs. We check on our pastured pigs and make sure they have plenty of feed and water which leads to happy pigs and tasty pastured pork. We also check on the grass fed sheep, our live stock guardian dog (LGD) Angel which is a Great Pyrenees puppy and make sure everyone has access to plenty of pasture and fresh clean water.
Mornings are a busy time on the farm but its also a beautiful, quiet and peaceful time to be outside enjoying God's creation.
This is a good review for anyone who has a farm, is into farming or has a homestead and trying to be a homesteader on your own property.
