Reaction of Soap with hard water and soft water || scum formation

This video includes reaction of Soap with soft and hard water

Hard water contains salts of magnesium and calcium .Due to which on reaction with soap ,leads to the formation of scum (White precipitate).

Due to scum formation with tap water lots of soap wasted during washing .
