Hawker Hunter fast jet fighters
Hawker Hunter fast jet fighters exhibiting the characteristic "blue note" aerodynamic noise of the Hunter flying at high speed. Apparently the low howl sound is caused by air flow over the gun ports under the nose of the Hawker Hunter jet fighter. The same blue note sound was generated by the Gloster Meteor F8 which had guns in a similar position.
This video is a short collection of Hawker Hunter clips that include flypasts by single Hunter F6 fighters, five Hunters from the "Team Viper" Hunter formation aerobatic display team and a 15 Hawker Hunter flypast at Kemble in 2001 celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic Hawker Hunter jet fighter.
