The famous Railway Phenomenon, "Sommertoget",
The famous Railway Phenomenon, "Sommertoget", when it arrives at Støren railway station, the station that is the first one in the line "Dovrebanen" in Norway.
This video / slideshow also shows some of the rolling stock owned by NJK - The Norwegian ( Enthusiasts ) Railway Association. Unfortunately the yard is now demolished, and the stock is scattered all over the country. New times, new needs for the railway, in Norway as well.
But "they" slaughtered a thriving environment, and a hobby for a lot of enthusiasts, and no museum in sight for most of the stock, - so far !!
Never mind, - here is the atmosphere at Støren this particular day, as seen through my camera lens.
