Krishna Jayanthi is a festival celebrated across India rejoicing the birth of Sri.Krishna.
Important tips :-
1) Not required to roast the Rice flour for both Murukku & Seedai
2) Allow the Seedai balls to dry for 15 mins minimum before frying in oil.
3) Keep oil in sim & medium and NOT in high while frying as it ensures it gets fried well.

INGREDIENTS FOR KAI MURUKKU :-
Raw rice (பச்சரிசி) - 8 cups
Urad Dal (உளுத்தம் பருப்பு) - 1 cup
Hing powder (பெருங்காயம் பொடி) - 1 tsp
White sesame seeds (வெள்ளை எள்) - 2 tsp
Butter - Unsalted (வெண்ணை) - 3 tsp
Water (தண்ணீர்) - 1 cup
Coconut oil - for lubrication

INGREDIENTS FOR SEEDAI :-
Raw rice (பச்சரிசி) - 4 cups
Urad Dal (உளுத்தம் பருப்பு) - 0.5 cup
Grated Coconut - 2 tsp
Hing powder (பெருங்காயம் பொடி) - 1 tsp
White sesame seeds (வெள்ளை எள்) - 2 tsp
Butter - Unsalted (வெண்ணை) - 1.5 tsp
Water (தண்ணீர்) - 0.5 cup
Coconut oil - for lubrication
