Instead of having to leave
Instead of having to leave your foot on the brake pedal when you've come to a stop, merely depress the brake pedal a second time to activate the vehicle's HOLD function.
This will keep the car stopped in its current position until the driver accelerates or depresses the brake pedal again.
Please note that this feature is not standard on older models but all new models have the feature as standard (according to South African specifications).
