गुलियाची खीर बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• १ लिटर म्हशीचं किंवा फुल क्रीम दूध
• १/२ कप पाणी
• २ चमचे साखर
• १/२ चमचा साजूक तूप
• १ थेंब केवडा इसेन्स (ऐच्छिक)
• १/२ कप तांदळाचं पीठ
• १/२ कप खोवलेला ओल्या नारळाचा चव (ऐच्छिक)
• १~२ थेंब केवडा इसेन्स (ऐच्छिक)
• चिरलेला सुका मेवा
• १/२ कप गूळ

Guliyachhi kheer is a konkan special recipe. It is a forgotten recipe which looks like angoor malai or ras malai. But this is a simple kheer that is made from the ingredients easily available in your pantry. It looks tempting and tastes just awesome. It is known all over India with different names. You can try this delicious recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 liter full cream / Buffalo Milk
• 1/2 cup Water
• 2 tsp Sugar
• 1/2 tsp Ghee
• 1 drop Kevada essence (Optional)
• 1/2 cup Rice flour
• 1/2 cup fresh shredded Coconut (Optional)
• 1~2 drops Kevada essence (Optipnal)
• Chopped Dry nuts
• 1/2 cup Jaggery / Gudh

Method:
• Heat up milk in a pan and bring it to boil.
• Keep on stirring at the intervals.
• Take water in a pan and add sugar, ghee, kevada essence.
• You can use gudh in place of sugar.
• You can skip kevada essence and add cardamom powder in place of it.
• You can use some other essence like rose in place of kevada essence.
• Bring it to boil.
• When water begins to boil turn the heat to lowest possible setting and add rice flour.
• Mix well and cover and steam on very low heat for about 5 minutes.
• Turn off the gas and keep it covered for another 15 minutes.
• Transfer the ukad into a dish and knead it really good.
• The ukad should be nice and soft.
• Make small balls from the ukad.
• Drop the ukad balls into boiling milk and boil them well in the milk for about 10-15 minutes.
• Add fresh coconut and mix well.
• You can skip fresh coconut if you don’t want.
• Add kevada essence, dry nuts and mix well.
• Add jaggery and mix well.
• You can use sugar in place of gudh.
• While making any recipe using milk and gudh, add gudh in the end.
• If you add before then there are chances the milk may get spoilt.
• Simmer for another 10 minutes.
• Turn off the gas and guliyachi kheer is all ready.
