4.2.5 Predict whether a compound
4.2.5 Predict whether a compound of two elements would be covalent from the position of the elements in the periodic table or from their electronegativity values. If the difference in electronegativity is between 0 to 1.7 then the bond will be covalent (the electrons are shared). This doesn't work for only metals alone-- they have metallic bonds.
