How to Troll for Lake Trout

Today we're out here in Lake Ontario flat-line trolling for lake trout. I'm using the silver/blue American Smelt model crank bait. We're out here in 30' of water, and the crankbait dives about 20' which seems to be the hot-zone for catching trout today!
