Despite what it states on the KitchenAid site, the US model icecream attachment DOESN'T fit on an Australian or European model KitchenAid mixer.
You can either buy an new drive assembly (A9709419) and dasher (A9709415) OR REMOVE THE WASHER that is in the way!!!
Here's how you remove the washer.
