With over 2.3 Million views of her showcase on Comedy Central‘s “This Is Not Happening”, the self-proclaimed baby hair, super fresh, a.k.a. Comedienne B-Phlat is as funny as her comedy, and sassy as her trademark mohawk. With high profile appearances on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Showtime’s Comics Without Borders, BET ComicView, to name a few, B-Phlat is the current Host and Creator of Tight’nUpTuesdaze, a live DIY podcast where she shows you how to reimagine household items before spending.
Tight’nUpTuesdaze is the haze brainchild of the 5’3 head flipper-in-charge B-Phlat, a successful comedian in her own right; and just like so many others, the pandemic forced her to find ways to reimagine a career, living environment and her income goals. She really needed a dedicate a space to create more income for herself. This need inspired her to re-do her nightmare of a basement, flipping it into something functional, fabulous and beautiful without costing a lot of money. Over the course of six months she created a masterpiece business office, Livestream podcast space, and a Lady’s Lair /entertainment areas by reimagining and reinventing 90% of the items either in pin her garage or neighbors’ trash. She just knew she had to show others working with a very limited budget, how to do the very same thing.
