New Water Tender

Initial training with our new water tender from Pierce Manufacturing.
With the addition of this tender, we now have four tenders in service throughout the 142 square miles of the Lehigh Acres Fire District!
This apparatus carries 3,000 gallons of water and is capable of pumping while in motion for a fire attack. With a pump rated at approximately 1,250 gallons per minute (the same as an engine),  it also carries hand lines for structure fires. It is also able to draft water so an engine is not required for water shuttle operations.
This is another great apparatus to have in our community as hydrant access is limited throughout much of the District.
