vMix Basics: Building a Dynamic Multi-Guest Preset

While many of our shows focus on more advanced vMix-related topics, we do get a fair number of requests to cover more foundational concepts. To support this segment of our community, we plan on doing several “vMix Basics” episodes this season that focus on building vMix Presets that address common production requirements. On today’s show - our first vMix Basics episode - we will breakdown a vMix Preset designed for a typical event-style production with a host and multiple speakers. We will cover the mechanics of setting up inputs with layers, hints for creating accompanying overlays in GT Title Designer, and effective ways to use the MERGE transition (and some VERY SIMPLE scripting) to create dynamic visuals. We will also be staying Live after the show to answer any questions and talk with any callers.
