Hiking from the Mae On Reservoir to Ban Mae Ruam, Chiang Mai, Thailand

This was an epic 4 hours hike. My friend Em took me hiking from the Mae On reservoir (Huai Mae On) up the rivers Mae On and Mae Ruam to Check Point 3 in the Mae Takhrai National Park, then we walked along the road (hitchhiked part way to Moncomeon Boy Scout Camp) to the village of Baan Mae Ruam where visited a resort briefly and then spent time with some nice people who were rebuilding the local temple. They fed us fresh roasted honeycomb, then lunch and beer.
