In the previous lesson you learnt; how to introduce yourself, in this lesson you will learn how to introduce your family and friends. You will also learn how to answer personal questions that people might ask you, in the process to know you personally or on social applications like face book, Instagram or twitter. There are following Questions that people ask you about your family : 1) How many members of the family you have got? (British) 2) How many members of the family do you have? ( American) 3) How many siblings (number of brothers and sisters) you have got or do you have? 4) What does your mother do? 5) What does your father do? 6) What does your sister do? 7) What does your brother do?
You can say : 1) I have got ______________ members in my family. 2) I have _________________members in my family. 3) I have got ___________ brothers and __________sisters. (two/three/four) 4) I have _________sister and ____________brother ( No /one) .
5) My mother is a _____________( housewife/working woman) 6) My father is a/an _____________________( Doctor/teacher/clerk /employee in a private company ) 7) My sister is _____________( studying /married /working ) . Example: My sister is studying in 7th grade or my sister is doing inter in Arts from Punjab group of colleges. 8) My brother is _______________ (studying /married /working). Example: My brother is doing masters in commerce from Punjab University.

Introducing your father: 1) My father’s name is ______________ 2) He is _______________years old. 3) He lives in ______________ 4) He has done ________________in _____________from ____________ 5) He is a ___________________(teacher /clerk / employee) 6) He likes to _________________ in his free time. 7) He is good at ____________________ 8) He wants to expand is business and he wants us to settle down.
Example: My father’s name is Alex. He is 45 years old, He lives in Lahore. He has done Bachelors in commerce from Leads University and He is a banker now. He likes to read and watch TV in his free time. He wants to become a bank manager.
Introducing your mother: 1) My mother’s name is ______________ 2) She is _______________years old. 3) She lives in ______________ 4) She has done ________________in _____________from ____________ 5) She is a ___________________(teacher /clerk / employee/ housewife) 6) She likes to _________________ in her free time. 7) She is good at ____________________( cooking /baking /managing the household)
If your parents are not alive you can say: my parents are no more or they have passed away. If you have only lost your mother or father then you can say: My father/mother is no more or my father or mother has passed away.
