Bill Evans established his own
Bill Evans established his own piano trio conception by interplaying with genius bassist Scott LaFaro.
However, after LaFaro died in a car accident in July 1961, Bill had a hard time meeting a player comparable to LaFaro.
Eddie Gomez, who co-stars on this album, was the first master Bill to meet since LaFaro.
Here, the lyricism blessed with Bill's delicate sense creates a more mysterious beauty, and it has become a piano jazz performance of conscience.
