Testing injectors on a 2007
Testing injectors on a 2007 Dodge 2500 with a 5.9L 24V Cummins.
If the engine stumbles or changes RPM when an injector is killed, then that injector is functioning properly. If there is no change in the engine's behavior when an injector is killed, then that injector has already failed and needs to be replaced.
For example, injector #5 in this truck had failed and was confirmed by no noticeable change in the engine when the injector was killed.
