Craftsman tractor DGT6000 bad steering fix upgrade V1.0 - There is a V2.0 update

This modification fixes the bad steering design of the Craftsman DGT 6000 garden tractor. The original design uses plastic bushings which probably wear out within a year. My tractor is now almost 10 years old and the bushings must have worn out so long ago causing wear in the metal parts to the point that the gears no longer aligned. Of course the steering stopped working all together during the worst snow winter in history!
I replaced the plastic bushings with a pillow block for the sector steering gear and a flanged ball bearing with locking collar for the steering shaft; a few nuts and bolts and the steering now works better then it ever did with less effort, smoother and tighter turning radius.
