[4K] The Maximus Coaster at Crealy Theme Park, departing from the ancient Roman station, join aboard this family coaster as we take a ride though history
Maximus is a junior coaster manufactured by Vekoma that opened on the 22nd July 2000 at Crealy Theme Park and Resort. When it first opened, the ride was known as Pastil Loco until 2009 when it was changed to Maximus. It has a height of 8.5 metres and a track length of 207 metres reaching a top speed of around 22mph. Guests are seated in a train with 8 cars arranged 2 across in single rows.
Restrictions
Guests must be at least 92cm to ride the Maximus. Riders between 92cm-110cm must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Note that in line with manufacturer's recommendations this ride may not be able to operate in wet or windy conditions for the safety of guests.
Crealy Theme Park & Resort, previously known as Crealy Adventure Park & Resort, is the largest Theme Park in Devon that boasts over 60 rides and attractions, with spectacular entertainment, live shows and a zoo. Crealy Theme Park & Resort has been voted as the best day out in Devon for eight years running.
The theme park opened in 1989 and is operated by Maximum Fun Devon limited. In 2022, the park announced the opening of a brand new themed area called Sooty Land based on the popular TV character, containing 4 rides, themed attractions and live shows. Sooty land opened May 28th 2022 with the new rides being Sooty's Magic Bus, Sweep's Flying Circus, Soo's Sweet Balloon Ride and Izzy Wizzy Lets Get Dizzy.

There is also a Pier building in the new Sooty Land that contains 10 new indoor attractions including an interactive Strike Arena, digi wall ball games, seaside mirror maze, electronic climbing wall, spider climb duo slides, dance tuition studio, giant games room, giant buzz wires, Soo's music house, Sooty's TV studio Sooty's Hall of Fame Exhibition, Memorabilia and props from the past 70 years of The Sooty Show, Sooty's Magic & Souvenir Shop, Sooty's Diner, Sweep's Hot Dogs, Soo's Tea Room and there will also be an outdoor play area.
There are two coasters at Crealy Theme Park, the Twister rollercoaster and Maximus rollercoaster as well as a Log Flume and Driving School with plenty of themed kids play areas including Fort Crealy and Pirate's Revenge as well as a huge Adventure Zone soft play area.
