WIP: The Warning Song

This is a song written by my band-mate, Steve Setron. Production notes: all instruments played by me, as usual. Digital piano instead of acoustic, some MIDI tweaking. Meanwhile, the acoustic drums are coming along! The drum part for this song was recorded in one take. That took a solid afternoon of takes. I used the same drum set and mic setup as shown/discussed in my previous drum videos. The big breakthrough was buying a pair of Vic Firth headphones made specifically for drummers. They completely solved the problem I described in my previous video, where I couldn't hear the metronome/backing track, as they provide way more isolation than my old headphones. Unsurprisingly this really helped my timing. To do: big lead guitar, of course.
