South 32 Awards | 17 science and technology pioneers honoured

South32 and the National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) on July 12 recognised several scientists and tech pioneers. The NSTF Awards also known as the "Science Oscars" were established in 1998. They are the largest science, engineering, and technology (SET) and innovation awards in South Africa. The 2024 theme for the Awards is the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR): Focusing on how digital technologies are positively changing global development.
