Halloween is my favourite holiday, and what better time to tackle a language that is long since dead?

While not at all related to those goths hanging out in dingy alleyways, the Gothic language is no less dead. Gothic was spoken for only about 500 years during the 1st millennium CE, but don't assume that it was a scarcely spoken language due to its short glimpse of life. Besides, with a case system, gender groups, and plurality eerily similar to German, could Gothic be German's evil twin? With effort to reconstruct the Gothic language, perhaps we should refer to it as an undead language, or a Frankenstein language, at the very least.
