"I wanted him to be afforded the opportunity that was not afforded me." #YusefSalaam, one of five Black and Latino teenagers wrongfully convicted of a 1989 rape in #CentralPark, spoke with MSNBC's the Rev. Al Sharpton about former President Donald Trump's recent trial and felony conviction. #Trump famously took out a full-page newspaper ad in 1989 calling for the execution of Salaam and the other wrongfully convicted boys.
