And the Rick makes its long awaited return.
...And possibly for the worst possible song/band/bass player to use it on. I did my best running it with the tone up and with some chorus, but this bass is very much built for that 60s dull (in a good way) tone and playing Peter Hook on it is not easy. Also, very much needs a setup, the action is close to a cm high.
All The Way is one of the great New Order album tracks and every part of it is great. The only reason it's not a big song is because it isn't trying to be. The best thing about Technique is also the worst: it's very slick and smooth, with less sonic range and risks than on previous albums. Technique is New Order's best album, but the best New Order album is Power, Corruption and Lies (yes I typed that right).
