Brian Epstein had his offices above his shop NEMS in Whitechapel, Liverpool. In this latest part of David Bedford's Beatles walking tour, he takes you to the location of NEMS.

NEMS stood for North End Music Stores and this one was one of a few shops in the chain of stores owned by the Epstein family. After Beatles fans were asking for the record "My Bonnie" by The Beatles, Brian purchased a number of copies and they sold out quickly.
Intrigued, he left his NEMS store and went to see The Beatles playing at The Cavern Club and he decided there and then to become their manager.
It was in these offices that The Beatles signed their contracts with Brian, and where Epstein had to tell Pete Best that he was being replaced by Ringo Starr.
