Assalamualaikum..
This video is Abi Akhdan's activity of picking cassava in the garden in front of the house. Make the family's favorite snack, namely Comro (oncom di jero) this is a typical Sundanese snack, comro itself in Sundanese is an abbreviation of oncom di jero which if translated into Indonesian is Oncom inside. Oncom is food made from tofu dregs.
Another snack made from cassava but it tastes sweet because it uses palm sugar, namely Katimus / Lemet cassava.
namely grated cassava and coconut mixed with palm sugar then wrapped in banana leaves and steamed.
🥬 Comro Ingredients:
. 1 kg cassava (grated)
. 150 g grated coconut
. 3 spring onions
. Salt & mushroom stock according to taste
. The oil for frying
(Oncom filling/oncom chili sauce)
. 250 g oncom
. 5 shallots
. 3 garlic
. 10 g galangal
. 2 large red chilies
. 20 cayenne peppers
. According to taste salt, mushroom stock, sugar
🥬 Katimus / Soft Material:
. 500 g cassava (grated)
. 100 g grated coconut
. 140 g palm sugar
. 65 ml thick coconut milk
. 1/2 tsp salt
. 1 tbsp tapioca
. Banana leaves for wrapping
