A walking tour of Fayetteville
A walking tour of Fayetteville Tennessee's newest hotel. The Hampton Inn is a four-story structure that includes 73 guest rooms and eight suites, as well as a 750-square-foot conference room. The hotel is situated at 110 Redstone Drive just off the Huntsville Highway and overlooking the Elk River.
Part of the development, the Avenue at Lincoln Center, will also feature a Bennigan's restaurant and pub adjacent to the hotel. Construction got underway on the restaurant last November.
Both the hotel and restaurant are owned by franchisee David Hunt, who has said a second restaurant could be eventually added.
First announced in 2009, the Hampton Inn gained up to $1.2 million in local tax increment financing (TIF) in 2010. Altogether, the project is expected to represent a $10 to $12 million investment here in our community.
