Yoho National Park is one of the best places in all of Canada for Landscape photography. There's just an endless amount of locations to shoot and compositions to make.  And, amazingly, to date I have never really shot anything here before.  I've always just been passing through or guiding people.  But, I got the lens out today.
The first photography location in Yoho National Park for us was Takakkaw Falls. It's one of the tallest waterfalls in Canada and is absolutely beautiful.  I've had a shot in mind for ages here, but have never had the opportunity to shoot it.  So, I busted out the camera and a couple filters and got the shot I'd been hoping to grab.
Then we pushed further into Yoho National Park and had a picnic lunch at the Natural Bridge.
And, landscape photography in Yoho National Park isn't complete without a bunch of images from Emerald Lake. So, that was our final destination of the day.
Honestly, photography is easy at a place like Emerald Lake. It's just a stunning location. There are few places in the world that photograph as easy as Emerald Lake.  It's one of those places that you could really shoot in any light and at any time of day and it would look amazing.
I took a bunch of landscape photography photos at Emerald Lake. In fact, in a span of about an hour I must have gotten a dozen photos that I really liked.  It's rare to get that many images in such a short period of time. And, they were all pretty diverse as well.
Emerald Lake is a great alternative to the ever-busy photography spots in Banff National Park.  It's so much quieter here. Down at the lakefront, there wasn't more than 3 or 4 people out wandering around -  a stark contrast to the other day at Moraine Lake.
The Canada photography and travel vlogs are continuing tomorrow. We're going to head to Lake Louise. Here's for hoping for good weather.
