اَلا یا اَیُّهَا السّاقی اَدِرْ کَأسَاً و ناوِلْها
که عشق آسان نمود اوّل ولی افتاد مشکل‌ها
به بویِ نافه‌ای کآخر صبا زان طُرّه بگشاید
ز تابِ جَعدِ مشکینش چه خون افتاد در دل‌ها
مرا در منزلِ جانان چه امنِ عیش چون هر دَم
جَرَس فریاد می‌دارد که بَربندید مَحمِل‌ها
به مِی سجّاده رنگین کن گَرت پیرِ مُغان گوید
که سالِک بی‌خبر نَبوَد ز راه و رسمِ منزل‌ها
شبِ تاریک و بیمِ موج و گردابی چنین هایل
کجا دانند حالِ ما سبک‌بارانِ ساحل‌ها
همه کارم ز خودکامی به بدنامی کشید آخر
نهان کِی مانَد آن رازی کزو سازند محفل‌ها
حضوری گر همی‌خواهی از او غایب مشو حافظ
مَتٰی ما تَلْقَ مَنْ تَهْویٰ دَعِ الدُّنْیا و اَهْمِلْها
.
text of poetry :
O beautiful wine-bearer, bring forth the cup and put it to my lips
Path of love seemed easy at first, what came was many hardships
With its perfume, the morning breeze unlocks those beautiful locks
The curl of those dark ringlets, many hearts to shreds strips
In the house of my Beloved, how can I enjoy the feast
Since the church bells call the call that for pilgrimage equips
With wine color your robe, one of the old Magi’s best tips
Trust in this traveler’s tips, who knows of many paths and trips
The dark midnight, fearful waves, and the tempestuous whirlpool
How can he know of our state, while ports house his unladen ships
I followed my own path of love, and now I am in bad repute
How can a secret remain veiled, if from every tongue it drips
If His presence you seek, Hafiz, then why yourself eclipse
Stick to the One you know, let go of imaginary trips

خواجه شمس‌الدین محمد شیرازی متخلص به «حافظ»، غزلسرای بزرگ و از خداوندان شعر و ادب پارسی است. وی حدود سال ۷۲۶ هجری قمری در شیراز متولد شد. علوم و فنون را در محفل درس استادان زمان فراگرفت و در علوم ادبی عصر پایه‌ای رفیع یافت. خاصه در علوم فقهی و الهی تأمل بسیار کرد و قرآن را با چهارده روایت مختلف از بر داشت. گوته دانشمند بزرگ و شاعر و سخنور مشهور آلمانی دیوان شرقی خود را به نام او و با کسب الهام از افکار وی تدوین کرد. دیوان اشعار او شامل غزلیات، چند قصیده، چند مثنوی، قطعات و رباعیات است. وی به سال ۷۹۲ هجری قمری در شیراز درگذشت. آرامگاه او در حافظیهٔ شیراز زیارتگاه صاحبنظران و عاشقان شعر و ادب پارسی است.
Hafez :
Khajeh Shamsuddin Mohammad Shirazi, nicknamed "Hafez", is a great lyricist and one of the gods of Persian poetry and literature. He was born around 726 AH in Shiraz. He learned science and technology in the classroom of the masters of the time and found a high foundation in the literary sciences of the time. Especially in the jurisprudential and divine sciences, he meditated a lot and recited the Qur'an with fourteen different narrations. Goethe, the great German scientist, poet, and orator, wrote his Oriental Divan in his name, inspired by his thoughts. His collection of poems includes lyric poems, several poems, several Masnavi, pieces and quatrains. He died in 792 AH in Shiraz. His tomb in the memory of Shiraz is a shrine of scholars and lovers of Persian poetry and literature.
