Keema Kachori

Ingredients for Dough:
All-purpose flour 3 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Ghee 1/4 cup
Water as required

Ingredients for Flour Batter:
All-purpose flour 1 cup
Oil 1 cup

Ingredients for Keema Filling:
Oil 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Onion (sliced) 1 cup
Chicken mince 500 g
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Yogurt 1/2 cup

Ingredients for Keema Kachori:
Prepared dough
Prepared flour batter
Prepared keema filling
Oil (for frying) as required
All-purpose flour (for sprinkle)

Directions for Dough Preparation:
1. In a bowl add flour, salt, ghee and mix them well. Add water and knead a smooth dough. Cover it with cloth and let it rest for 15-20 mins. Set aside.

2. In a bowl add flour, oil and mix it well. Set aside.
Directions for Keema Filling Preparation:
3. In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds. Sauté for a minute. Add chicken mince and cook until chicken changes color. Add onion and cook until onion gets soft.
4. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, cumin powder, turmeric powder and cook until mince is fully done. Add yogurt and cook for 1-2 mins. Set aside.
Directions for Keema Kachori Preparation:
5. Take the prepared dough and divide it into 4 equal parts.
6. Take one part and roll it out into flat circle with the rolling pin.
7. Now brush prepared flour batter on it and roll the dough into long tube shape.
8. Now cut the dough into 7 equal parts. Take each part and flatten it with hands. Place keema filling on it and combine the edges together to enclose the keema filling.
9. Now deep fry them until crispy and golden brown. Your Keema Kachori is ready. Serve and enjoy.
