On Ep. 02 of 31 Days of Foolish, I answer the question of "why is Foolish important..as a book and story?"
Short answer: Especially in the times that we're living in and experiencing, the culture needs our stories and folklore to be created and told by us, for us.
The experience of black culture, specifically how it relates to black spirituality and practices is diverse and not a monolith, nor are we as a people.
Creating new stories and narratives that give life to the experience of a black spiritualist in 2024 and beyond is necessary and important.
