Most of the people love to eat roasted garlic as a side dish with different food. But most of them don’t know how to roast garlic in the microwave oven (culinary tool). Roasting garlic in a traditional oven takes a lot of time. While microwave roasted garlic can be prepared within 10 minutes.
In this video, I’ll show you how to make roasted garlic in the microwave oven. You can use any type of garlic for this recipe. And also you can use your favorite seasoning for garlic roast. I have used olive oil, salt, and black pepper for seasoning. However, let’s get started to learn how to roast garlic in the microwave oven.
Preparation Time: 3 Min
Cooking Time: 5-7 Min
Additional Time: 5 Min

Ingredients
1. Garlic: 2 large
2. Olive oil: 1 tbsp
3. Water: 2 tbsp
4. Salt to taste
5. Black pepper to taste
6. Plastic wrap
Directions
1. Cut the garlic head.
2. In a microwave safe bowl, add garlic and season with olive oil, salt and black pepper.
3. Add water to the bottom of the bowl.
4. Now cover the bowl with plastic wrap and make some holes in the plastic warp.
5. Microwave for 5-7 minutes at medium to medium-high power. (If your microwave doesn’t have a power setting option and it’s an 800-900W microwave, then cook for 3-5 minutes.)
