India makes some of the best movies in the world (except Race 3) but have you ever wondered how big is this industry and how these movies are made?
- The Indian movie industry is the 5th largest movie industry in the world!
- It employs nearly 2 million people including writers, editors, camera men etc.
- India makes more than 2,500 movies in over 20 languages every year!
- Ramoji Film City attracts over 1.5 million visitors per year!
- In Ramoji Film City, more than 200 films are shot every year!
- Ramoji Film City is 26 times bigger than the biggest cricket stadium in the world!
- The Film City employs more than 6000 people.
- Do you know that up to 20 international films, or 40 domestic films, can be shot simultaneously in Ramoji Film City?
