1979 Corvette transmission removal - step by step process

Right off the bat guys, your transmission job might be a little different due to this car having this welded up exhaust system that really was not fun at all to deal with. It could go a lot smoother for you guys than it did for me. I didn't record a lot of the exhaust part of the job because it was not fun. literally I don't want to deal with the exhaust again Haha! depending on your set up you might just be able to get away with removing the center bracket and moving it backwards and then have enough room to bring transmission out, not exactly sure though because this is the first corvette I have put hands into. for me the exhaust was going under the rear of the tranny and there was no way but to remove the exhaust and unfortunately its welded into one whole piece from exhaust manifold to muffler tips and no hangars except all the way at the end. I wish I could have just removed exhaust from manifold to right at the bracket where there should have been a disconnect at but, obviously not on this one. if you have any questions feel free to drop them in the comment section. I keep saying flywheel but I mean flex plate.
