In this video I take a look at OptiFine vs Sodium and perform a Sodium VS OptiFine FPS Fix Lag Spike Test on Minecraft Java 1.18.1. OptiFine and Sodium are both performance mods for Minecraft Java for FPS Boost. We see how to fix lag spikes in Minecraft with OptiFine or Sodium. OptiFine is a well known pack that works well with Forge, while Sodium and works best with Fabric.
As shown in the video, I get fewer lag spikes with Sodium on my system compared to OptiFine. I also get more FPS with Sodium compared to OptiFine. Your system may be different.
