Description for the video:
- Floor of the mouth has various important structures such as the tongue, various muscles etc.
- The tongue is a muscular organ that forms the majority of the floor of the oral cavity. it has two sets of muscles, extrinsic muscles of the tongue and intrinsic muscles of the tongue.
- The tongue is attached to the floor of the mouth through frenulum.
- Mylohyoid muscle forms the floor of the mouth. Mylohyoid muscle is a long sheet of muscle that extends across the floor of the mouth.
- There are also various other important structures present in the floor of the mouth Such as sublingual and submental salivary glands, /various nerves and vessels.
