► How To Fix Audio Clipping

Clipping is when your sound goes above the peak which is 0 dB and it sounds distorted.
It’s because the top of the waveform is cut.
You can see if your track is going above peak if this bar goes red.

So don’t go red or your recording will be dead.

To fix this go effects and go clip fix.
Just leave everything as it is and hit ok.
Now go normalize to restore the volume.

Audacity manual says that  It is only likely to be effective for repairing lightly clipped audio so when you record try not to go over the peak and you’ll be fine.
