For this customer, converting two single roller doors into a double width Gliderol Panel Door updated their façade and made the garage more practical to suit their needs.

The client engaged us to see if it was possible to remove the centre pillar as they had purchased a larger vehicle which could not fit between the opening of their existing roller doors. We advised them the best way would be to remove the centre pier in between the doors and install a new steel beam along the header to support the roof above. We worked alongside one of our most trusted builders in CJ Frost Developments who took care of all the building and structural works required for this job.

We can complete jobs like this in one day, operating like a well-oiled machine. On the day the works are to be completed we attend site first thing in the morning to remove the existing doors so the CJ Frost team can get started. By lunchtime the building work is completed, and we are back to install the new garage door.

The client was very happy to have a much wider garage door opening, and the new door significantly improved the front façade of their home.
