Two trains meet at Richland
Two trains meet at Richland on the Norfolk Southern Harrisburg Line, but a motorist failed to remained stopped for the red signal and smashes through the crossing gate coming back down on the other side of the crossing. There are some closer shots of the broken gate at the end of the video.

While waiting for the 94M stone train to come east with a trio of GP38 locomotives, westbound intermodal train 21M came into frame while the camera was rolling. The much anticipated 94M was struggling to make track speed on wet rail with a heavy train (they are not in full throttle for good reason) with only 6000 horse-power for a 6000-6500 ton train from the quarry at Annville. The guy in the white pick-up truck found out the hard why it is always a good idea to wait for the gates to go up completely at a double-track mainline. That was the second time in the same month that exact crossing gate was broken by a vehicle.

94M: NS GP38-2 5070 (former high-hood, new admiral cab), NS GP38-3 5827 (rebuilt GP50), and NS GP38-2 5304.
