The ASX opened down only 0.1 per cent on Thursday as more COVID-19 cases emerge in Sydney.
On Wednesday the market opened flat and dropped by 0.6 per cent throughout the day largely due to the uncertainty around New South Wales’ coronavirus situation.
Business reporter Ed Boyd said the stocks which tend to be affected by COVID-19, such as retail and travel will be watched closely.
