NEW CS RANKING
Go beyond ranks with the new CS ranking
The CS Rating is an open indicator of skill that determines your place on global and regional leaderboards. To find out your ranking, play the revamped Premier Mode (our competitive mode with a front-line map selection system) alone or with friends.
YOUR EYES DO NOT DECEIVE YOU
Movement, shooting and throws no longer depend on the server update rate.
The subtick structure is the basis of Counter-Strike 2. Previously, servers calculated changes on the map only at certain intervals - “ticks”. The new architecture allows the Counter-Strike 2 server to instantly recognize that you have taken a step, fired a shot, or thrown a grenade.
As a result, both movement and shooting have become more responsive, and grenades always fly along the same trajectory.
YOUR ITEMS IN A NEW LIGHT
All your CS:GO items will not only remain with you in Counter-Strike 2, but will also be transformed thanks to the way Source 2 works with lighting and materials.
The game not only supports the previous colorings, but also uses new high-quality models for some of them.
