How to Convert Audio to Text:
Join/login to Veed and begin a new project. Upload the audio file you wish to use.
Veed will then ask you if you want to use a template. This can be useful if you want to share an audio file on Instagram, however if you just want to convert audio to text and then download it, simply click ‘start with a blank canvas’.
Firstly, you want to create subtitles for the audio. Click on the ‘subtitles’ tab on the sidebar, and select ‘Auto Transcribe’. Veed will then automatically convert your audio to subtitles.
Once Veed has automatically generated your subtitles, you can see them located on top of your audio file, in the timeline.
Press play and check if there are any spelling errors in the subtitles. If there are errors, head to the text box window, and correct them.
Once the text is correct, head to the ‘Options’ tab, and you will be given the option to Download Subtitles. If you want to download them as a text file, click the drop down menu, and select .TXT format. Then press download.
This will download the file and if you open it, it will show you the text.
If you want to download the file and use the subtitles for closed captions, select ‘SRT’ format, and click download.
If you want to turn this into a video, you can upload an image and add audio sound waves.
Head to the Upload button and select image, and find the file you want to use.
You can drag the image to your desired position by clicking on it and dragging it. You can also enlarge and rotate the image.
You can also add sound waves, but clicking on the ‘Elements’ tab, scrolling down, and selecting one of the many sound waves.
If you have made a video, click the ‘export’ button in the top right corner when you are finished, and select which resolution you want, making sure the ‘burn subtitles’ button is highlighted. Then hit export.
Veed will then render your video, this may take a few minutes depending on your wifi and video length.
When it has exported you can hit the Download button and the file will be saved straight to your computer.
