Sore throat is a fairly common problem which can be caused by irritants as in pollutants or having foods that can cause astringent irritation of the throat because of the nature of the food items that we eating. Sometimes very spicy food can also cause irritation of the throat. For some people even bad allergies can cause irritation of the throat and repeated hawking and clearing of the throat. Because of that can cause sore throat. Infections are the most common. What to avoid? All raw foods because you don't know what is causing this. Secondly if you're eating any food that can have as astringent quality for example some of the tubers root vegetables are likely to cause irritation of the throat. If you are allergic to certain foods it's best to avoid them completely. If you are having hot foods make sure they're not too hot to irritate your throat. These are the things one should take care of when you are having foods when you have a sore throat. Avoiding foods to prevent a sore throat is nothing possible because you do not know what can cause a sore throat for you. But if you already have a sore throat then those are things we avoided.But on the other hand if you looking at a ballpark figure or what to avoid then you should be avoiding. Anything that you know is causing sore throat for you. So it has to be literally something that you will identify as something that's an irritant and avoid it completely.
