In this episode , we deal with one of the most important part in a concert : Raagam Tanam Pallavi ( RTP )
The Musicians can use their Manodharmam to the maximum extent in RTP. The artist is free to choose everything here like the ragam, lyric, language,tempo, talam, nadai etc... . Artists can display their Vidwath and virtuosity to the fullest here.
We have explained the structure of the pallavi , the various types of pallavis etc ...
We thank Shri Vidwan Mudikondan Ramesh, for his valuable insights on Thanam, and sharing his thoughts with us on ACJ.
We also thank Vidushi Smt Charumathi Raghuraman for the lovely Sarasangi for the opening theme.
