About the Josh Snodgrass the Guitarist: "My dad is a pastor who taught me to play guitar in church as a child. I played many of these wonderful hymns growing up in our small country church. When I grew to be a teenager I didn't understand how a good God could allow suffering in life and I left the church and entered a time of dramatic rebellion in life. After several years of addiction and experiencing a lot of destruction, much like the prodigal son in scripture, I cried out to God for forgiveness and placed my faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, I was forgiven of my many sins and now I am a new creation in Jesus. I now understand that suffering in life happens to all as a result the fall and sin (our own and others) but for the Christian God can actually use it for our good to make us stronger in Him. I now have a wife named Sarah and 2 sons which have been a great blessing to me. I have had the blessing of serving hundreds of churches with live music and I look forward to the time when I can resume "in person" ministry events.
