National Express route 11A journey in full. The longest urban bus trip in Europe is the "Outer Circle" route 11. It goes in a big circle around the city of Birmingham in England. The 11A goes anti-clockwise and the 11C goes clockwise. They both run the same route but in opposite directions.

There are longer "intercity" motorcoach journeys in Europe. However, the Route 11 in Birmingham is the longest bus journey within a single metropolitan area. The record was previously held by Route 360 in nearby Coventry, but the company that operated that journey - "Travel de Courcey" - cancelled that service in 2016.
