In this video, I use the Irving Berlin song "What'll I Do?" to help you practice the American accent with singing. Using music to learn English is not only great because the repeating phrases and melodies make song lyrics easy to remember, but because singing gives you the chance to practice the resonance of American English and connected speech (linking sounds together).
If you are not a singer, don't worry! There is still a lot of useful information about letter sound and linking, that apply to spoken English. I also do a spoken version of the lyrics with and without the ukulele.
