We had an awesome #GraduationDay on September 7 here at our Amritapuri Campus! As our graduation oath goes: May the graduands help humanity and save Nature!
On September 7, Amritapuri campus graduation day was celebrated in the presence of our Chancellor Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) and Chief Guest, Prof. Hemantha Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore and Guest of Honor, Dr. G. M. Nair, Secretary, Government of Kerala, India. Dean of Faculty of Sciences, Dr. Bipin Nair welcomed the gathering. Chancellor Amma addressed the gathering. President of Board of Trustees, Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri addressed the graduands. Prof. Venkat Rangan administered the oath that was undertaken by all graduands. The Convocation address was by Prof. Hemantha Kumar. Ph.D. students, medalists were awarded. Dr. G M Nair addressed the gathering which was followed by toppers of all schools and programs being honored. The Vote of thanks was offered by Dr. Balakrishnan Shankar. The other dignitaries on stage included Registrar, Dr. Sankaran, Director of Amritapuri campus, Br. Sudeep, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Media & Commerce, Dr. Krishnakumar U, Dean, Post Graduate Program, Dr. Krishnashree Achuthan, Dean, International Programs, Dean, Faculty of Business, Dr. V. S. Somanath, Dr. Maneesha Ramesh, Principal, School of Engineering - Amritapuri campus,Dr. Jyothi, Medical Director, School of Ayurveda, Br. Sankara Chaitanya, Principal, School of Arts and Sciences - Amritapuri campus, Dr. V. M. Nandkumaran.

Several schools held independent stage events after this main event to award degrees to all graduands at our Amritapuri campus. The event was attended to by 1200 students, parents and well-wishers. Several faculty members and students volunteered to make this possible and was a joyous occasion for the Amrita family.
